Terms of Service & Policy

Welcome to NDT Tanknicians L.L.C. (“we,” “our,” “us”). By using our services or accessing our website at ndttanknicians.com, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern all agreements, service engagements, inspections, and related activities between our company and you (“Client”).

1. Scope of Services

NDT Tanknicians provides non-destructive testing (NDT), asset inspections, tank cleaning, coatings/linings, repair oversight, and compliance consulting. Each engagement is defined by a written scope of work, formal estimate, or service agreement.

We reserve the right to amend the scope based on site conditions, safety concerns, or additional asset discovery, with written client approval.

2. Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.

• Pricing is based on information provided by the client at the time of quoting.

• Any material change in project scope, asset count, accessibility, or conditions may result in a revised quote.

• Mobilization, travel, and equipment fees are itemized as applicable.

3. Scheduling & Site Access

• The client is responsible for providing safe, legal, and unrestricted access to all assets scheduled for inspection.

• Work requiring confined space entry or hazardous conditions must be declared in advance.

• NDT Tanknicians reserves the right to delay or cancel services in the event of unsafe conditions, unpermitted entry, or unprepared sites.

4. Permits, Safety & Compliance

• It is the client’s responsibility to secure all necessary permits, including confined space entry, hot work, or site-specific documentation unless otherwise stated in writing.

• Our team adheres to OSHA, API, STI, NACE, and ASNT standards, including proper PPE, gas monitoring, lockout/tagout procedures, and rescue planning.

• We reserve the right to refuse entry or cease operations if safety compliance cannot be assured.

5. Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is typically required to secure project scheduling. The remaining balance is due Net 15 unless otherwise agreed.

• Payments not received within 30 days of invoice date may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month.

• Additional costs for emergency service, re-inspection, or change orders will be invoiced separately.

6. Deliverables

• Final reports, recommendations, photos, and documentation are typically delivered within 7 business days of project completion.

• Reports are delivered electronically unless otherwise arranged.

• Documentation is the intellectual property of NDT Tanknicians until full payment is received.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled mobilization may result in a charge for mobilization or lost labor.

• Rescheduling due to weather, safety, or site readiness will be handled in good faith.

• A mutual reschedule date must be agreed upon within 30 days to retain priority.

8. Warranties & Liability

• Our services are provided as-is, based on observable and measurable conditions at the time of inspection.

• NDT Tanknicians does not warrant asset performance, structural integrity, or long-term outcomes beyond documented findings.

• We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, uninspected areas due to access restrictions, or post-inspection changes.

• Any loss, damage, or delay due to client negligence, false reporting, or interference may nullify liability.

9. Confidentiality & Data

• We maintain strict confidentiality on all client data, reports, and findings.

• Reports may include photos, measurements, asset tags, and compliance data.

• We do not share or publish client-specific information without prior written consent.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction within the State of Kansas.

11. Amendments

NDT Tanknicians reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on ndttanknicians.com.
